lemonly help / Job links

Send applicants from your LinkedIn job post straight to your lemonly application page by choosing an external website as the application destination.

Public platform guidance checked October 14, 2026 · About 5 minutes

## Choose where applications go

Applications completed on an external website are managed in lemonly. LinkedIn says it does not retain those applications in Recruiter or include them in its applicant counts.

## 1\. Get your lemonly job link

1. Sign in to [lemonly](https://app.lemonly.ai/login) and open your role.
2. Starting a new role? Choose **Create role**, add the role details, check the requirements, set up the chat interview, then review and create it.
3. In the **Your role is live** panel, choose **Copy link**.

Already closed that panel? Open the role, choose **Settings** using the gear button at the top right, then choose **Copy** beside the job link at the top of Role settings.

Copy the public job link from lemonly, rather than the address of your private role report.

## 2\. Add it to LinkedIn

1. ### Open your job post
In LinkedIn, open Jobs and choose Post a job, or edit the role you already posted. Complete the title, company, location and description.
2. ### Choose an external website
In Job settings, find Manage applicants or Application method. Choose the external website option. Some versions call it “Direct applicants to an external site to apply”.
3. ### Paste your lemonly job link
Use the full link you copied from lemonly as the website address. It should open this specific role, rather than a general company page.
4. ### Review and save
Check the job details and application destination, then save or publish when ready. Review any promotion budget before confirming.

## 3\. Check the destination

Open the candidate-facing job post and use its Apply button. The destination should be your lemonly page for the same role. If it opens LinkedIn’s application form, revisit the application method.

Confirm the role title, company and application page look right. You can check the destination without submitting an application.

## If your screen looks different

Can’t find the external website option? Check the application settings for your job-posting product, then ask LinkedIn support if your account uses a different posting flow.

Labels and available options can vary by account. The official guides below can help you find the equivalent settings.
